Do you have Favor?

Let me tell you . . . It's a GREAT feeling to know you have God's Favor in your life. I don't necessarily belive that Favor is "merit-based" but rather, a byproduct of God's Grace. I know that I have fallen short of God's glory, but I can't help but recognize His Favor because of the way things ultimately turned out. It's not even that I'm so special (I mean, I am, but that's not the point ;) ). I think that if you submit yourself to God's will you open yourself up to recognizing his Favor and Grace.

Here are my tips for receiving The Creator's Favor:

1. Recognize that there is a God and he gave his only son Jesus so that we may be
saved.

2. Know that we were ALL divinely created as part of The Creator's magnificent plan.

3. Acknowledge our responsibility to live up to our God-given potential.

Those are my top three. If you apply these in your life, you can't help but feel better about yourself, which in turn opens you up to RECOGNIZING God's Favor at work in your life. It would oversimplify things to say this is positive thinking, as I wholly believe in a Higher Power, but my positive thinking springs from my faith.

The Power of Intention

I dreeeaaam of living abroad. I have such a wanderlust in my spirit that I know I must explore my dream. I'm thisclose to buying a one-way ticket to Italy/Spain/France. Mortgage be damned! Now if I could just come up with the money . . .
