*sigh* I've been putting off writing this post for quite some time because I didn't know just how much I wanted to share. Long story short, Germany and Paris were FANTASTIC, "T" was an EXCELLENT host and we had a wonderful time together. I actually cut our time a bit short (we were supposed to go to Amsterdam together) because I just couldn't take being around him and being "all up in my feelings". Umm yeah . . . I had to make my exodus quick-fast. I've never had a guy friend like him and now I understand why: When you are emotionally close with someone (as we are) and you find them attractive (as I do), SOMEONE is bound to catch feelings (ie., me). That is soooo not a good place to be in!!!! Anywho, I left early and took some time by myself in Paris to collect my thoughts. Paris was WONDERFUL!!!! Chile . . . whatever I have going on, they LOVED it in Paris!!!! =D The men (black and white) were very bold and I heard a lot of "Bonjour, Tres Jolie", etc. *tee-hee* I can't lie, it was GREAT for my ego . . . especially coming off my Germany trip.
Sooo . . . I ate croissants every day and STILL lost 5lbs!!!! *Boo-yah!* I miss living in a walkable city.
Let me just say that "T" is truly a good person. This man took time off work to spend with me, opened up his home annnnd made breakfast err-day! And not no cereal and ish like I would, lol. Omelets and ish! Plus, he made me a nightlight out of a lightbulb and a battery (he is soooo brilliant). He also expressed many times how he couldn't believe I was really there and that he was glad I was there. He's a good friend. We're still very much in touch.
Oh, how can I leave out that I flew back from Paris in FIRST CLASS!!!! Ya girl is sooooo made for that lifestyle! Mimosas before we'd even pulled away from the gate! Mmm-hmm . . . I can get (and have already gotten) verrry used to that indeed.
I'm already planning my next trip (World Cup in Brazil) and likely Paris for a month (what?). =) Carpe diem!!!! Circulate the pretty!!!! =D
